Terms of Service

These terms apply to ExtensionKit (the "Product"), a source-code starter kit for building Chrome extensions, sold by Ramiro Fernandez, Argentina ("I", "me"). By buying or using the Product you agree to them.

1. What you buy

A one-time purchase gives you a copy of the Product's source code and documentation, plus all future updates for as long as the Product is maintained ("lifetime updates"). Refunds are covered by the 30-day refund policy. It is a digital product delivered by download right after payment.

2. Payments

Orders are processed by Lemon Squeezy, which acts as the merchant of record: it charges your card, issues your receipt and handles sales tax or VAT. Their buyer terms also apply to your purchase.

3. License

You get a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license. You may:

• use and modify the Product to build an unlimited number of extensions and related products ("End Products"), including commercial ones and work for clients;
• distribute End Products, which may include the Product in compiled or bundled form;
• share the source with team members and contractors working on your End Products.

You may not:

• resell, sublicense, share or redistribute the Product itself, in whole or in substantial part, as source code, a template, a boilerplate, a starter kit or any other developer product, free or paid;
• publish the Product's source code in a public repository.

4. Your responsibilities

You're responsible for the extensions you build and publish: their content, their compliance with the Chrome Web Store policies and applicable laws, your own privacy policy, and the accounts you open with third parties (Supabase, Stripe, Lemon Squeezy, Google). The Product includes templates and guides, not legal advice.

5. No warranty

The Product is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. Third-party services it integrates with can change their APIs, prices or policies at any time; I'll try to keep the Product up to date but can't guarantee compatibility.

6. Limitation of liability

To the extent allowed by law, I'm not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, lost profits or lost data arising from the Product. My total liability is limited to the amount you paid for it.

7. Termination

The license ends automatically if you breach these terms. End Products you already distributed in compliance with them stay licensed.

8. Changes

I may update these terms. Changes apply to purchases made after the date above; the terms in force when you bought still cover your license.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Argentine Republic, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
