How to use it
- Open any article. The button in the bottom-right corner shows its reading time.
- Click the button for the word count and, with Pro, the readability report.
- Drag the button up or down to move it. Hover it and click ✕ to hide it on a site; bring it back from the extension's popup.
Pro
- Pro adds a readability score, a US school grade level and your three longest sentences.
- Upgrade from the extension: click the ReadStats icon in Chrome's toolbar, sign in, then Upgrade to Pro.
- Manage or cancel your plan from the popup with Manage billing.
Common questions
- The button doesn't appear. Reload the page. Chrome doesn't let extensions run on
chrome://pages or the Chrome Web Store. - I paid but I'm not Pro yet. Close and reopen the popup. If it's still Free after a few minutes, email me with your order number.
- How do I delete my account? Popup → Delete account. Your account and data are erased.
